This year, I set out to conquer my fears and turn my weaknesses into strengths. Since January, I’ve lost 24 pounds through dedication to my health, following a keto diet and fasting. No fast food, no sugar, no alcohol, and no carbs. This journey has not only improved my physical health but also sharpened my focus and mental clarity. It’s all about challenging myself and being the best version of me.

Initially, I focused on the keto diet without working out, and in two weeks, I lost 16 pounds. That was a wake-up call about the impact of what I was putting into my body. Once I started working out, the results accelerated, and I realized how much my diet played a role in my overall health.

Focusing on my health has completely transformed my daily life. I’m more disciplined, my schedule is tighter, and I’m spending quality time with my family at the gym. This new routine has given me a mental edge and more energy for work and other activities. Like Deion Sanders said, “You look good, you feel good; you feel good, you play good; you play good, they pay good.” I feel better at speaking events and conferences, and carrying less weight has made everything easier.

As an athlete, staying in shape has always been a priority, but stepping away from the game, I found myself almost 300 pounds. That wake-up call pushed me to get back into my prime shape, bringing along that mental edge that comes with feeling your best. If you’re an athlete or anyone struggling with weight gain, bad eating habits, or using drinking to pass time, know that change is possible. With discipline and commitment, you can transform your life. Use me as an example: with just one month of dedication, I was able to shed 24 pounds. From 297LBS, I’m now at 273LBS and still pushing forward.
